That said, however, the ochu and neochu have been in competition for much longer. Immortal begins the fight by summoning a Centaurion Blade. Depending on your level of development, defeating it will either be unnecessary or an absolute priority.
Both the Immortal and the Centaurion Blade are vulnerable to Deprotect. Make sure that Enfire, Bravery, Protect and Shell are maintained as much as possible, particularly if you have a weaker party.
Switch to Guarded Assault during each Electrocute and heal off the damage using Discretion. Use Smart Bomb to stagger the Centaurion Blade before using Cerberus X to kill it and repeat the process for Immortal, switching to Decimation to replenish any buffs.
This version is considerably weaker than its counterpart in the previous game, though we now no longer have the luxury of the Eidolon trick. The strategy for beating this monster is rather simple. You just have to be fairly developed as a party in order to execute it easily.
A developed SYN with defensive as well as offensive techniques. Use Guerilla X to stagger each leg before switching to Cerberus and finishing them off.
The necessary debuffs are Imperil, Poison and Deshell. Once both legs are dead, Long Gui will collapse. He should be dead in one stagger. Yomi is almost a direct copy of Vercingetorix.
